Cedar Hill, TX is accepting applications to establish an eligibility pool for Firefighter/ Paramedic.  Minimum qualifications:
  • 21 years of age by closing date.
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Must have Texas Dept. of State Health Services (DSHS) Paramedic Certification.

  • Honorable discharge if ever in military

  Closing Date:  5:00 PM, Thursday, September 7, 2006

 

 

Application and required documents must be on file in Human Resources by closing date and time.  Do not submit any paperwork to the Fire Department.  Proposed hiring salary for fiscal year 06-07 is $39,000 for Fire Recruits or $41,235 for Certified Paramedic/Firefighter plus EXCEPTIONAL benefits package, including medical insurance for dependents, currently only $144 per month.  Incentive pay for paramedic is $900 annually and certificate/education pay up to $1200 annually.
